Rating at 4.75Package arrived no dings or crunches. Sounds beautiful and taken back by the grand piano default sound for such a low price. And taking away all the other features and capabilities would still be worth the asking price.Would have given 5 stars but the extra hassle of finding and paying extra for power supply is nothing but greed on Yamaha's part. I would rather they charged appropriately and include PS in the package. Instead of making the customer do the footwork. And the included manual is next to useless due too small print for older eyes. And doesn't keep other voice setting reverts back to default grand piano if turned off.For serious student wanting to learn piano would pass for a more realistic keyboard with weighted keys and 76-key or full 88-key. Which usually will have starting price of twice or three times of this one. But those that aren't sure how deep they intend. This is a great #1 start to getting started keyboard with a low price investment. And give it a 4.75 rating if I could.Update 60 days later: Still going strong. As to losing settings when turned off I complained about. Of course you have the 9 settings save slots. But also can power up holding the left most key then power and it will disable auto-shutoff. Also adjustable timeouts for auto-off can be set.Just so much even if you get bored learning the piano. There is plenty of other fun feature things to do for entertaining yourself. I do my 30mins-1hr. Then just fiddle with all the neat features and options having fun. From the outstanding DSP effects and 11 Super Articulation Lite Voices. To the Duo or split keyboard makes for some great playing and learning fun. This is my daughters first piano. It’s great for her beginning and has a lot of features. She is able to record her music and store it, switch to a grand piano sound and even an organ. However she has quickly out grown it because of the keys. It is a 61 key s d she needs something bigger with more keys. But the sound is awesome the quality is awesome for beginnersThis is the best balance between price and quality. I love it, highly recommended. This keyboard earned five stars from me because it delivers what I was looking for. The sound is very good - better than I might expect for the price. I am primarily a pianist, so that voice is important to me - and is very good. I use this keyboard to write songs and play music when I am away from my pianos. It works wonderfully well for both. I'm used to weighted keyboards on the Baby Grand in the living room and the old Yamaha Arius YDP-163 Digital Piano in my studio. This one is not weighted, but I knew that going in, and is not a big deal to me for how I use it. It has ports for my sustain pedal, USB to computer, and output to a sound system or amp if I need to make it louder than the internal sound. The internal speakers are fine for my use 99% of the time. I really like one simple little feature: There is a button on the console that reads, "Portable Grand." That button returns me immediately to the pure simple sound of a grand piano, no matter how many effects and features I've been playing with. I use it all the time, and it brings a smile to my face.I have always played Yamaha keyboards since I was 13 years old...Im 37. I now have an 8 year old son who is obsessed with music and learning how to play by ear. See his natural abilities unfold on my studio Yamaha Mx88, i decided he needs a keyboard of his own...so I saw this model. I used to play the DGX line for nearly a decade and this keyboard has all the pro sounds. Great realistic sound is important because it simply sounds better which, beginners will have more fun so they will stick with it! The Grand Piano on this model was sampled from a Yamaha Grand Piano worth 250,000 dollars. The speakers sound decent, but the sound really comes to life with a nice pair of headphones. Its a beginner piano keyboard so it doesnt have the best speakers but the price is great for what you get! Add a sustain pedal, stand and bench and you got a great setup for beginners of any age. Dont forget the power adapter is you will have to purchase that separately...only 10 bucks here on Amazon. Happy playing. The list of instruments and are expansive and sound rich. The touch sensitive keys are plastic but work well. For the price, this is one of the best pianos one can buy. I previously owned a Yamaha (which was not touch sensitive) and though it sounded great, this somehow sounds even better.Good sound and functionality.I love my PSR-E373! This keyboard sounds amazing! I did the research, Yamaha may not have all the tech bells & whistles of a similarly priced competitors, but the sound quality is superb. The 373 features the grand piano from Yamaha's top of the line keyboards, as well as 11 super-realistic S. Articulation Lite instruments (also from their premium products) that will blow you away! There are a wide range of DSPs (Digital Signal Processors) to customize each tone, and the built in audio generator allows sharing of sound & video via the Yamaha Rec N Share app. Until 12/31/21 Yamaha.com/promotions offers a 3 month premium Flowkey membership ($60 value) for free - two days into that I was playing a simple two handed piece with Super Articulation Strings with a layered violin, OMG it sounded so good! And I just started playing! Don't know why this keyboard has so few reviews, I would totally recommend it to anyone starting out (Yamaha is now shipping this model with lighted keys, the EZ-300, for $50 more FYI). I found that, if you connect the E373 to Synthesia via the MIDI port you essentially get the same experience . Ok, so the power adapter (P130) is $10.50 extra, but it's worth it! And yes, the onboard recorder is only 2 tracks, but starting out do you really need more? The quality of the voices, effects & rhythms for me easily outweigh the lack of "extra" tech. It's a Yamaha, and it will let you sound great down the road when all the practice finally pays off!For the cost 13,500 it is a worst packaging ever....I got it from shop 24/7 seller..It has only original piono box thats it....But no damage to the product for gods sake.Good Quality Product...Product containsManualAdopterSongs note place holderAnd a Digital PionoAwesome quality Product from Yamaha. Best for the new ones.Although Packaging of the Amazon (Appario Retail Private Ltd ) was very low quality , was not good, came with the instrument box only which got damaged from outside, fortunately keyboard was safe. They should cover the instrument box with some extra packaging.Rest this instrument is satisfying and happy learning to all the beginners :)
