This is goody only issue is i have trouble using it on bandlab i have to slam press this thing for notes to play every other software works. Also the nobs n what not don't work for me unless I don't know how to use them seem pretty pointless to me.. but again I'm not a pro in this field I'ma beginner in production and this is just a hobby. But overall definitely worth the priceI could see why this MIDI controller is so polarizing. It doesn’t come with a manual or even info that you need to download software to edit the parameters and settings/where to find them. That can be a problem if you don’t know what you’re doing, but I read the reviews beforehand and already knew what I was getting myself into. Once you’ve downloaded the software, it’s a bit finicky, and if you don’t know what you’re doing (or have a Mac -it seems a lot of OS X users have had issues with the software not working,) you’ll probably have a few hangups, but I figured things out pretty quickly. The build quality is fine. It doesn’t feel top of the line, but it doesn’t feel like garbage either. The faders have a nice friction. The pads are really sensitive, but I managed to tweak the calibration to suit my needs. Also, figuring out pad colors with RGB is a little weird, mostly because the numbers only go up to 127, rather than 255 like I’m used to. Still, I managed to get all the pads in the assortment of colors I wanted. My least favorite aspect is the pitch and mod ‘wheels.’ They don’t have as good of a feel or control as physical wheels on other keyboards feel, and the mod wheel flat out doesn’t work with most of my VSTis. I’m sure with some dicking around with the configuration, I can solve that issue, but it’s still kind of a pain. All that being said, this works for me. It fit my budget and I use it all the time.I liked the unit but after hooking up to my laptop the software did not work. It is not supported and will not work with any laptop as it does not exist. This makes the unit useless as you cannot program the different channels or use the unit as intended because it wont sync.Had this thing for a month and still haven’t figured it out. Does not come with instructions, you have to find it online however all the links I’ve come across are broken. For someone like me who has never done this before, at this point it’s just a hunk of plastic. Wasted money.I wished that we were told we needed so much more to make this device work other that the USB cord provided and a tiny instructions page that does not help.I was really excited to get this item but ended up being really disappointed. The MIDI software is outdated (its from 2003) and impossible to use. It's not user friendly and the item didn't come with a user manual, so I had to look one up online. I was trying to change the colors of the pads and remap them as well. It took FOREVER to even get close because the software produced an error message after just about every setting I tried to input. That plus the instructions in the manual for changing the colors were incorrect- to program the colors, you need to type in a 3 number combination that the seller put on a google drive link. What I was able to achieve felt like I did it by accident. Like I said, I really wanted to like this product and was even excited to set it up and play around with it, but it ended up being a huge headache that I can't customize for my needs. I'd advise getting a different midi keyboard.Works well, it is pretty cheapMy son loves it.. I just wish he would have read the fine print.. it works better with a updated laptop the windows laptop does not give him a lot to work with when he is using it… but other than that it works great.I downloaded the software but whenever I tried to open the app to use, I kept getting a notice stating the software was in need of an update from the developer:" "WLD PANDA MINI.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information." "When I contacted the customer support, they kept RE-SENDING ME THE DOWNLOAD LINK. I explained the situation again, and again and they just kept sending the download link, not addressing the notice from Apple at all. I did not need help with downloading it, I needed help with the software not opening.So, basically the MIDI controller is all you're getting since they don't seem to be interested in addressing the software.the panda mini had me stumped in the beginning because the configuration program has an unbelievable amount of bugs on mac. After like 4 hours total of tweaking and googling I figured out how to set up everything in the midi and calibrate it to my DAW. once it was all set up it was smooth sailing! great response time, the led's and drum pad material is super satisfying. overall great beginner midi if you don't mind having to tinker.Didn't work the program doesn't exist and the pad has no sound don't buy this now I have a new toy for my dogs to play with thanks amazon won't buy againIs a very good product a bit hard to figure out at first but once you do is great my husband loved itThank you
