It’s not Yamaha or Casio or Korg but it works well and sound as good. I love the lighted keys and it sounds like a real brand name keyboard. My husband is a musician and owns Yamaha and Korg And other brand name keyboard but didn’t wanna buy an expensive for a beginner yet and this KB is perfect!I am a big fan of this brand. They make great entry level musical instruments that have a proper sound. So you can really test whether or not you like or want to learn an instrument without spending hundreds of dollars. The sound and functionality of every Vangoa instrument i have is good enough that its fun. An issue you have with some cheap models is that they are unplayable, which keeps people from wanting to learn more. You will not have this issue with Vangoa.I have my eye on their Banjo next. The microphone is junk. Hopefully they will improve it. The microphone had a short right away and we had to buy a different one. Other then that my son loves it.For an inexpensive beginner piano, it’ll do its job (my 2yo daughter loves to “play” pianos). It’s neat that it lights up when the keys are pressed and will light up keys for its programmed songs so you can play along. However when we opened the box we noticed there was something rattling around inside, and later found out the back of the frame is damaged and able to separated (see image). The box it arrived in was flawless, so it was packaged already damaged.Another thing that may bug you is it doesn’t sound in tune, some keys just sound off compared to a real piano or even a higher quality keyboard. This was a Christmas gift. It has been a big hit! My 6 year old loves it. We have had no issues and have had it a couple months now. There is a headphone jack so parents don’t have to hear all the noise lol. It’s a good purchase and been a quality product so far. I would recommendOverall, pretty decent for the price. Good features, nice color options, clean looking, good drum accompaniments, and some sounds are decent. Good size. It's hard to find kid's pianos that look clean like this compared to the very industrial looking Casios and Yamahas. However, we had to return because of two factors. One, the Microphone is awful and it makes a loud buzzing sound through the speakers, like AC hum and ground loop static. Just not good. Microphone also cannot be heard through headphones. Which leads to the other big problem. One of the main reasons we got this is to have our daughter use the headphones too. BUT, a serious design flaw is that the lowest volume setting on the volume button is still way too loud. It's either level 1, or 0, which goes to silence. At level 1, it's still super loud. Compared to the volume settings of the drum accompaniment, which can go nice a soft incrementally, we'd expect the main piano tones volume to do the same, but it doesn't. It's too loud at the lowest setting both through the speakers and through the headphones, making it uncomfortable to play or enjoy...which is unfortunate. So, overall if Vangoa reads this and can improve the next model on these two factors, it's worth another look for a started introductory piano for a child. The light up key function doesn't work as well as it should. It's a great concept. If Vangoa were to improve this, they should research and make it work like the Casio Lk-280's key light function. That is very good and works like it should.hope this helps everyone considering this keyboard.Like I said, it's decent. But the volume setting is a big deal breaker.Granted, I'm just using it to learn for the fun of learning, but a bit difficult to hear the bass chords with my left hand when the volume of that lower 1/4 of keys is just half the volume of the rest of the keys. I'm also not sure if the full keyboard gets the effect change (going to fake trumpet/the like), but those lower keys never change, just in a constant piano tone and always low on volume compared to the rest. For a beginner it's a great price, as long as you can potentially live with that little quirk.Bought this for my Granddaughter who loves it unconditionally which is the only reason I haven't sent it back. The company misrepresents the keyboard as lighting up to teach someone to play. The fact is that the keys do not light up until pressed which has absolutely no value for teaching. Otherwise this is a descent tool for youngsters. We bought this for my almost 4 year old boy. He loves singing and music. Unfortunately a little to advanced for him actually but I am sure he will get used to it and enjoy it in years to come. My 6 year old i enjoying playing it!Bought the keyboard for my daughter who started to learn piano. She likes the keyboard a lot as it has a lot of features. It allows her to record her play and play back. Sound quality is good. The keys are in decent size. Only downside is the instruction sheet is placed on the piano with tape instead of proper glue. Overall, good piano, decent price. This thing should never be sold. It's dangerous and cheap.I bought it for my 5 year old's birthday, and luckily started to assemble a day before. Taking it out of the package, it had some seriously toxic off-gassing. Also, the plug didn't work and it wouldn't turn on. So I tried with batteries. That's when the burning smell started. It still wouldn't turn on but something was going on inside as the burning smell wafter through the house. This should be removed from the marketplace.Started off well the children loved it. After a couple of weeks the speakers started to buzz, this got progressively louder to a point where it sounded like it was going to blow. Returning.Nice piano keyboard , and good value for money , for new beginners, but volume is quite loud for A child when you first turned it on number 3 i have the volume on 1 or 2 is just right
