This is perfect for my odd PC setup. I have no desk. I sit in-between 2 monitors attached to sturdy end tables on poles and arms. This fits one of my monitor poles perfectly. It's sturdy and most important, the arm stays put once you have it in the position you want. I'll probably buy another for my other similar setup.I installed this after a failed VESA device using a monitor arm. Installation is ok but it has lots of parts-good instructions though. The brand logos are unattractive and annoying. It does appear to be the best solution for a sit and stand monitor. It is pricey, but time will tell on day-to-day use in a medical practice.I wanted to get rid of my desk to maximize floor space in my small apartment. The shortest mainstream keyboard trays require 17" of mounting depth, making mounting them on a shelf impractical. Humanscale makes a nice looking 11" track but the whole shebang is upwards of $350.I mounted this keyboard arm on the wall underneath a similar arm for my monitor. I can now sit or stand and have my keyboard (kinesis advantage), mouse, and monitor at the correct height. Everything folds up next to the wall when we have company. I installed small shelves for the speakers and other stuff I want within reach. The look of the wall with shiny robot arms coming out of it is undeniably awesome. My only gripe is that the tray bounces a little when typing. It doesn't make it difficult to type but it is noticeable. I haven't had it long enough to say if it will be an annoyance or not, but Cornell Ergonomics guidelines say to make sure your work surface doesn't wobble.I also wish the tightness of the keyboard tray fold-up joint was adjustable, like the other joints. Mine is pretty tight, and makes it awkward to fold up completely flat against the wall.I already owned a single Ergotron arm for holding my monitor. Loved it. Talked with Ergotron tech support and they said that I could probably add this wall mount arm to my existing pole and use both together. So I did and they both indeed fit on the same pole. However, my issue was that the tray would vibrate quite a lot as I would type and I couldn't really rest my wrists on it without making it move out of place. This was unrelated to the fact that it was attached to the desk pole instead of a wall.PLUS the mouse tray was really janky. They use an extremely cheap setup to make the tray glide from one side to the other. They placed two thin pieces of tape on 2 small plastic divisions underneath the tray. That was supposed to make the tray glide. Probably not a great idea to begin with. However, the tape was maybe 1/4" wide and the plastic division it was stuck to was probably 1/20" wide. So it's like trying to make cellophane tape stay put on a toothpick. Of course the tape started falling off the thing as soon as I started using it and within just a few minutes, it came off one end and got stuck inside the keyboard holder. I had to rip the tape apart to get the tray to move.Returned it and went with the Ergotron Workfit-S instead. Much more stable. The LX arm is really nice, and really solid, but the final segment of arm that holds the keyboard tray is very badly designed. The keyboard tray itself is of poor quality for the price. The tray is made of plastic and the extendable side pieces that are intended to hold a mouse are very flimsy and flexible; when resting my hand on the side piece it bends significantly. This is unwelcome in a product at this price point. The real problem with the product, though, is a fundamental design flaw. Unlike the LX monitor arm there is no way to adjust the rotation of the keyboard tray, or adjust its tilt forward. This becomes an issue because the weight of the arm and tray puts enough torque on the system that the tray ends up tilted slightly to the left or right and either forward or backward, depending on how the thing is mounted. The end result is a keyboard tray that is tilted and no way to compensate for it through adjustments. It is a downright stupid design decision to add cost to the product and remove flexibility.A much better alternative is to buy the LX monitor arm and have a metal shop make a custom tray that mounts to the VESA mount on that arm. The end result is a much better, and somewhat less expensive product. In this proposed keyboard tray you end up with a tray that has no flex and has full rotation and tilt adjustments. There are no additional complications since the ball joint on the LX monitor arm is more than sturdy enough to stay put when resting your arms on the tray.I paired this arm with a Samsung 55" smart tv , wireless mouse and keyboard. The arm completes my system. The problem with keyboard tray not tilting down I solved with a small washer between the pivot and mounting plate for the tray.Works great so far.I bought this because I have a large U-shaped custom countertop I put together for my gaming area. I needed something for my keyboard to easily be brought out from below the countertop and go back under when not in use. I mounted the base against the side of the cabinet with 4 1-1/4" 10/24 machine screws and used a lock washer, washer, and nut on the inside of the cabinet...about 8" back form the edge of the countertop. Since this isn't a traditional set-up I needed something very specific to make this work as I need it to extend to about 24"+. This thing installed in less than an hour and works better than I expected. Totally worth the money.I use this to go along with some wall mounted monitors and a treadmill. This is where I work for 2-3 hours a day, and it works great. I didn't initially expect it to be sturdy enough for walking and typing, but it works perfect. I use this with the Ergotron 45-289-026 Mounting Extension. It's more money than I wanted to spend, but other than building something myself, there aren't many options out there for wall mount keyboards. I'm very happy with the purchase, and this is much cheaper than buying a treadmill desk.Wow, what a piece of engineering! I installed this 2 days ago and i can't stop marvelling at how well it works. It is solidly built and very versatile. The pressure in the arm can be adjusted to release slower or faster as desired and can move +/- 150mm apr. up/down. Watch when you lift the keyboard off the tray! The keyboard tray can be tilted to prevent RSI also.I was worried about the weight of the arm and the wall fixings. My walls (brick) aren't the best but the fixings supplied are massive (2x 80mm, M8) . You'll need a 13mm socket to tighten these. I used a drill fitting but there wasn't enough torque so i ended up twisting the drill round. I did slight damage to the metal mount but there are facings supplied to cover the screws. Just ensure the screws are level and everything should be good.It does seem to be quite expensive (£195 at this time) but i would not hesitate in recommending this item.I bought for home use but this is seriously professional kit. This is a very effective and I have paired in with the Ergotron 45-289-026 Brushed Aluminium Extrension Arm. It is very stable and very stong. I was comfortable buying this as I had already bought the wall mount equivilent for my 32" Screen. The build quality and operation is exceptional and solid, and needs to be as the price you pay is very high, so is only for the those wishing for a top end home office experience. The mouse tray element can be pushed all the way through the body of the tray, so it comes out of the left for the left hand mouse users. Also comes with a little wall mounted docking pod for a mouse. This is great for folding up the keyboard up against the wall. Note that when folded up, it still sticks out 6 inches. What I don't like is that one of the arms has a sharp corner, and every time you fold it up against the wall, it can sometimes scratch the drywall. I end up trying to find a foam cushion for that area. Good concept.Der Schwenkarm ist professionell und gut. Man muss jedoch zuerst dahinter kommen, wie eine Position in der Höhe "festgemacht" werden kann. Die Beschreibung dazu ist vorhanden, jedoch etwas versteckt am Ende abgelegt, obwohl das eine der entscheidenden Arbeiten ist.Wenn das nicht gemacht wird, geht der Arm immer wieder in eine per starker Feder bestimmte Ausgangsposition zurück.Everything about this experience was fantastic.-Price-Delivery-PackagingGreat job!
