It was good for a little over a year and then it stopped working.I'm not a laptop person, but the surface x pro w/keyboard is versatile, powerful and takes care of all my professional and personal work with ease. The interface is intuitive and sleek. I just turn it on and get to work.This keyboard works great with my computer and also serves as a case. Keeps the pen tucked away for later use. I really liked the integrated pen slot and the velvet feel of the cover side of the keyboard. Just over a year later with extremely light use (once per week) my surface pro x will not recognize that it is connected. Microsoft would not offer a replacement as the product was outside of warranty coverage by a few months. Disappointing durability.Hey I bought the keyboard and pen but the keyboard doesn’t work, but the pen worked with the new keyboard I bought can I keep the pen and just returner the keyboard.I bought this second hand, but it stopped working within 30 days of purchaseMy warranty expired in August 2021. And in November, the type cover has totally stopped responding. I've tried everything on the support page, nothing worked. The type cover is dead. I refuse to buy another type cover for 13K when there is no guarantee that it will last beyond a year. My pen stopped charging twice within the year!!! They replaced it once, it is still under warranty but now they wont respond. Disappointed with Microsoft. This was my second surface device after Pro3. May not buy the Surface again.The keyboard with pen stopped working after 1 year. There's no hope for repair. Even a cheap keyboard last longer than this.
