I prefer to have my desk top clear as much as possible. Having the tray that hides underneath is very helpful. If using a traditional keyboard, it holds it in a great, ergonomical position while keeping your desk top free. If you're using a laptop, you could also store notebooks or use a tray to hold pens, pencils, etc.The edge of the tray has a raised cushion to provide wrist support in the event that you're typing on your keyboard. It's very easy to attach and remove.The only thing I wish were different would be for the tray to slide under the desk completely when not in use. It sticks out just a little bit. Not a problem, just a matter of preference.Overall, I highly recommend this tray, especially if you utilize a traditional keyboard!
